Bio
Maria is a licensed clinical therapist who earned a Bachelors with honors from the University of Pittsburgh in Psychology and Music in 2011 and her Masters in Social Work from the University of Buffalo in 2013.

Maria has performed as a professional soloist since 2008 and has performed in many concert works including Bach Cantata No. 4, 23, 39, 80, 124 and 182, Vivaldi's Gloria, Haydn's Mass No. 9 in C Major Missa in tempore belli "Paukenmesse," Aaron Copland's In the Beginning, Telemann's Magnificat, and Cary Ratcliff's Ode to Common Things. She was a choral member and a soloist with Harmonia Chamber Singers for the Western New York Premier of Joby Talbot's Path of Miracles as well.

Maria performed as the mezzo soprano soloist (Faerie 2) in the production of Mendelssohn's A Midsummer Night's Dream with the Irish Classical Theatre and Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Grammy Award winner JoAnn Falletta. She also performed in Fredonia's Bach and Beyond Festival as the solo alto choir member and the second witch for Purcell's Dido and Aeneas. Most recently, she performed with Sotto Voce in their production of Puccini's Suor Angelica as La Sorella Infermiera. She is excited to join Sotto Voce again in their production of Lucia di Lammermoor as an alto choir member and she will also be performing as Hansel in Hansel and Gretel Act 1 duet with the Amherst Symphony Orchestra and Sotto Voce.
Maria has performed with various choral groups and orchestras as a soloist including Ars Nova, Camerata di Sant’Antonio, Buffalo Philharmonic Choir, Buffalo Chamber Players, Musica Sacra, Buffalo Master Chorale and Lutheran Chorale of the Niagara Frontier. She has been a member and soloist with Harmonia Chamber Singers since 2021 in Buffalo, New York and was a member and soloist with Vocalis Chamber Choir in Buffalo, New York since 2012. She frequently sings as a soloist for church parishes around Western New York including St. Paul's Episcopal Cathedral, Zion Lutheran Church, Clarence Presbyterian Church, Unitarian Universalist Church of Buffalo, Hellenic Orthodox Church of the Annunciation and has been was the Alto Lead and soloist for Holy Trinity Lutheran Choir from 2013 to 2022. She has been a member of The Women of Vivaldi as well as the Buffalo Women's Choir, a group that provides 1:1 mentorship to young aspiring female singers. Maria has performed in numerous recitals and additionally sings for weddings, funerals and other personal events.
